As the development of GPS technology, the application area of kinematic GPS positioning have been more and more wide, and the requirement for the positioning accuracy has been more and more higher. In kinematic GPS, the integer ambiguity and tropospheric delay are the main error sources that affect the positioning accuracy. There have been some approach to decrease the errors, and using Kalman filter is one of the effective methods. In previous studies, people have demonstrated the feasibility of resolving the ambiguities by Kalman filter. However, when Kalman filter method is applied to calculate the tropospheric delay, its accuracy remains to be seen.The thesis first analyzes the feasibility of resolving the atmosphere delay using Kalman filter theoretically. Then the thesis uses the experimental data to analyze the accuracy of this method. GAMIT is used in the experiment as an analysis tool because of its splendid ability in calculate the high accuracy GPS datas, and the tropospheric delay calculated by the GAMIT static modules is used as the ture value.Track is the kinematic module of GAMIT, and it uses a Kalman filter to determine the position of the site. When setting the mode to LONG, track can give the atmospheric delay simultaneously. In this thesis, the preicision of the track result and its influencing factors are discussed by comparing the kinematic with static results of the same period. Then on the basis of GPS meteorological theory, the thesis demonstrates the feasibility of kinematic GPS meteorology using the kinematic zenith tropospheric delay resolution method.
