Reservoir prediction technique is an technology applied for reservoir or hydrocarbon-bearing pool research, arised from the eighties of 20th century in Geophysical circles and developed rapidly, which comprehensively utilizes seismic,geology,well logging and other data to reveal geometric spacial distribution (including reservoir thickness,structural feature of reservoir's TopBottom,bearing of trend and thinning out location, etc) of subterranean target (reservoir,hydrocarbon reservoir, etc) and distribution character of reservoir's microscopic reservoir attribute parameter. So, reservoir prediction technique is an synthetical applied technology. It is a process including matching,transformation and integration between seismic data and well logging data bearing high-resolution, and geological knowledge permeated from beginning to end. Its application greatly improved petroleum geologists'predictive ability. At present, utilizing seismic data to provide reservoir prediction aimed at thin interbeded layer cannot be accepted yet totally, primarily affected by the constraint of seismic axial resolution, thin layer cannot be identified and imaged directly on seismic reflection profile, as a result, extraction of thin layer ran into blind zone. Therefore, studies of reservoir prediction technology direct against thin layer are of significant implication.The article taked the eastern clinoform zone of Chengdao oilfield in Bohai Bay basin for an example, in the work area in the Tertiary period depositional stage mainly developed a part of Dongying formation and Shayi section formation, the stratum are mostly consisted of gray mudstone, dark gray mudstone, mixture of oil shale and thin sandsone, especially low part sandstone which developed in the channel under the structure ordovician condensate field.Nowadays, methods used for reservoir prediction applied in seismic exploration mainly include: seismic inversion technique, seismic attribute analysis technique, hydrocarbon detectiong technique, and so on. In the petroleum seismic exploration circles, seismic inversion technique is an significant technique for reservoir prediction. The thesis performed research and analysis on direct inversion,Model-based inversion and other inverion algorithms, meanwhile discuss application and limitation of several normal inversion techniques.On the basis of reservoir seismic prediction technique and research, the thesis detailed introduced the application for reservoir seismic prediction technique in eastern clinoform zone of ChendDao oilfield. According to the characters of practical gelological conditions and seismic data in the work area, performed data precessing on seismic record, improved effectively the quality of seismic data. On the basis of determining the corresponding relationship between geological horizon and seicmic reflection horizon, structure-logging constrained nonlinearly reservior inversion was finished in the work area, inversion section clearly described thin sandstone reservoirs. Completed secondery standardization with inversion results to produce geometrical feature and thickness of sandbodies, and then comprehensively use structure,sediment and more information to perform prediction of benefit area.
