The Design And Development Of Highway Traffic Facility Managing Information System

With the rapid development of Road traffic in China, The management of road taffic is held in high regard today.However, this is big work to collect the road traffic facilities with Manual counts and it can not meet the demands of magaging the traffic facilities in time. So, the focus of most researches has turned to how to collect the information of traffic facilities quickly an how to manage these facilities. In response to the features above, we designed and Developed of Highway Traffic Facility Managing Information System combined with the technology of geographic information system. Detailed descriptions are as follows:Firstly, we designed the plan of collection of traffic facilities. We take the mobile road surveying system to collect the image of traffic facilities as the major instrument and the digital camera with GPS as the minor instrument. And we also designed the contents of the collection.Secondly, we bring up three key questions for designing the traffic facility Managing Information System.There are the design of symbol , the development of Layer management Control and the technique of transmitting data with the wireless network.Finally, we designed and Developed of rraffic facility managing information System.
