Mineral resources are an important foundation for national economic development, sustained and steady development of industry must have an adequate reserve of mineral resources, mineral exploration is particularly important. Exploration of mineral resources at home and abroad by: geological mapping method, topography law, geological remote sensing method, such as geophysical methods. In this paper, Ruoqiang County in Xinjiang and the mountain area 1:5 million transfer project as an example to explore the remote sensing information extraction method of prospecting.The article is located in mountain areas in Xinjiang and the study measured the use of ETM + satellite remote sensing data and metal mineralization related to remote sensing information extraction method of prospecting.
