It is a complex project full of technologies, investments and staff for the Oilfield development. Especially at the middle or later stage of oilfield development, the original study method of single discipline that fights separately will not be fit for the changed reservoir conditions because of the scattered residual oil distribution. A new multidisciplinary method should cooperate with each other to make the best of the all-in-one reservoir study system to perform fine geological study, then to guide the establishment of a reasonable and practical development program for the potential residual oil.Aiming at the contradictions of high water cut stage oilfield, combine with fine reservoir geology, production seismology, petrophysical and geological modeling, production logging, well testing, reservoir simulation, economic evaluation and program design, the multi-disciplinary professional conduct multidisciplinary reservoir studies. In light of the actual block, expounded the key technologies of multidisciplinary reservoir studies, such as fine geological research, facies-controlled modeling, reservoir simulation, distribution of remaining oil and program adjustments, point out the basic steps of the multidisciplinary reservoir studies. Fine geological study mainly contains study of pay-sands division and contrast, micro-structure, the distribution and trains of the sands which is the basises of multidisciplinary study of reservoir;facies-controlled modeling mainly in the context of fine geological research, conducts facies-controlled modeling, using facies-controlled interpolation method for prediction of reservoir parameters, numerical simulation and it is the basis of development programs adjustment;reservoir simulation is to test the accuracy of geological model , and predict the remaining oil saturation distribution and production measures;program adjustments conduct in the above-mentioned study and is the application of outcome of multi-disciplinary reservoir studies program.
