Tahe Oil Field is located in the north of Talimu Basin in Xinjiang province. The north of Tahe oil field is highly explorated in this area. Trias is the principal producing formation in Tahe oil field which has a high degree of exploration and research. We have made a lot of study on top, middle and bottom oil group in Trias acquiring a high productivity. There's little latent capacity in remained traps. The exploration aimed at clastic reservoir is just at the beginning. Although only a few traps has been fixed, it has a huge reservoir thickness and a beneficial configuration between reservoir and cap formation showing a favorable exploration potential. According to the recent well testing report, the clastic reservoir in the east of Tahe oil field shows a prospecting evidence of oil and gas.The kern of article is the integrated study of log welling,seismic exploration and geology explanation. Based on the individual well, the author has analyzed the log response in Tahe Oil Region and built the model of reservoir parameter. Using conventional logging suite, we've totally finished well logging interpretation of 38 wells in this area. In the meantime, he has also constructed a fluid identification plot in this area pointing out the favorable place for prospecting.In the view of the complicated lithologic character of the reservoir, Fuzzy Cluster Analysis is introduced to classify it in individual well. Through studying the well tie section and the plane distribution of sedimentary facies, the author has summed up the evolutionary track in the time and space and?? pattern of the sedimentary facies. In the end, we arrive at a conclusion of the depositional model in the Tahe clastic reservoir including: fan facies deltaic model; braided stream deltaic - meare deposit; shock fan deposit; fluviatile facies, etc.Using self-organized neuron method to identify the wave pattern of the seismic channel, the author gets the distribution of the seismic facies. Then the seismic facies has been translated into sedimentary facies with the help of individual well. The result shows a well compatibility between the two facies.Analyzing the comprehensive interoperating result of Electrofacies,Sedimentary Facies and Seismic Facies and the distribution of oil and water in well tie section, the author, at last, forecasts the favorable place for prospecting in this area: Shushanhe group has a huge reservoir thickness with a beneficial configuration between reservoir and cap formation. Mean while, according to the result of log welling interpretation and the analysis on well tie section, almost all the interoperated and testing oily layer is centralized in this group which maybe the stress in forthcoming explration.
