Research In Modern Digital City

As the Development of science and technology and China's urbanization process, the new needs of the construction of digital cities seems even more urgent. Digital City will have an enormous impact on people's lifestyle, culture, customs. It will promote the comprehensive innovation of urban planning method, the modernization of management, and sustainable development. At the same time, assist the Government in making the decision, digitalizing city's information, creating a new socio-economic system, upgrading the quality of government decision-making, building "one-stop" service platform for the public. However, during the practice process, there is variety of reasons. So, now we lack of a framework of digital City, there is no standard law neither. Standardization has become another bottleneck in the current constraints of digital city. Due to the lack of uniform standards, different data formats, it caused great inconvenience to the community of data sharing; at the same time, due to the lack of unified planning, it caused the relevant low-level redundant software development and overall inefficiency. As soon as possible to establish a scientific and rational management of data processing and information technology standards has become imperative.Firstly, this article studied the development of digital city, research the key technology of digital city. Against the current development issues that exist in design. I Proposed the design objectives. Then, based on theoretical basis, taking into account of some original digital city model, proposed framework and function modules of digital city. The design of the Digital City is divided into four levels: basic layer, meta-data layer, the management application layer. Also described every level's functions. And longitudinally compared the technology of each level, declared a most reasonable technology portfolio to support the design of the framework model. In order to complete these functions I have chosen "3S" technology, electronic map technologies, web technology, wireless access, LBS, information security technology for the protection as the main technology portfolio.In the use of this model,designed a management system of communications' resources for some operators to help them to rise their efficiency of producing.
