Studies On Species Diversity And Conservation Of City Landscape Plants In Ezhou

On the basis of surveying (investigation) to the major resource of plant species and plant communities of the natural principal mountain, the wetland and the green land in the city urban, the concrete analysis of the plant diversity in Ezhou city, which can offer a suggestion for the protection of plant resources and the construction of urban landscape, and make a preliminary programming of the protected area of plant diversity.The results were given as following:1. Totally, there are 656 species, 402 genera and 142 families of vascular plants, including 13 species, 13 genera and 13 families of pteridophytes; 17 species, 15 genera and 7 families of gymnosperm; 626 species, 374 genera and 122 families of angiosperm. The larger families in flora of Ezhou are Rosaceae, Gramineae, Leguminosae, Compositae with 41,43, 38 and 36 species respectively, are the four most important families, are the four most important families, playing an important role in species resource.2. There are 31 community, 14 formation, 5 vegetation types. The species richness, diversity index, evenness index had evident difference and complex change in the different communities, but appeared to vary in similar manners in the same communities.3. There are 14 national rare and endangered plants, including 4 species of the first national grade, 9 species of the second national grade.4. According to the analysis of habitats quality in the urban district, designating the key area of habitats protection as Xishan Mountain scenic spot in northwestern and Yanglanhu Lake scenic spot in central.5. The amount of plant species various green lands was obviously different in Ezhou: 277 species in the park green space, 115 species in the productivity greenland, 96 species in the protective greenland, 150 species in the affiliated greenland.6. In Ezhou, there are 170 species in the courtyard and square: 51 trees, 62 shrubberies and 57 herbs in the urban greenland. Commonly, the proportional relations of green area structure were as follows: tree-shrubbery-herb> shrubbery-herb> tree-herb> lawn. There are 42 species in the courtyard and square: 17 trees, 23 shrubberies and 2 herbs in the highway, which planting arrangement is relatively simple, and it is hard to richly present geographic features and the resource diversity of plant.7. On the basis of surveying (investigation) to resources of wildless plant and habitats in Ezhou, the layout planning of the protected area of plant diversity were made a tentative suggestion. 8. On the basis of surveying (investigation) to plant diversity and planting in the city urban, the urban landscape plants were selected. Also, it primary studied the establishment of plant community in different urban green Space.
