The space moving three-points TDOA (time difference of arrive) location system is widely used in Spaceborne electronic reconnaissance system by its better location and relatively low running costs. However, the traditional methods of location optimization and tracking techniques do not make full use of observational data. It can not meet the requirements of high accuracy. So it is necessary to make a research.This paper is focused on some problems of target location optimization and tracking by the space moving three-points TDOA location system. The following results are obtained:Because the location error of moving three-points is time varing, BLUE (best linear unbiased estimation) based on the weight of error covariance matrix is given for statistical optimization of locations.Data of TDOA with larger location error is integrated. An integration algorithm of multi-TDOA is presented based on NLS (nonlinear least square). This algorithm can also be used to locate for single non-matching data of TDOA.Finally, time difference filter methods based on SR-UKF (square root Unscented Kalman Filter) are given, which are different from traditional method of anchor point filter in target tracking.
