Daqing oilfield has been into the later development period of high water content adjustment stage now. The dynamics changes of the oilfield are becoming more complex and the distribution of the remaining oil is increasingly hidden and sundry. At the deposition time of Pu 1st sand sets, it is just the very deposition background of shallow lakes that causes the river's large energy, frequent horizontal swing and serious vertical cut erosion which has created horizontal error overlap of the different river channels in the same period and vertical tangent of the minor river channels in different periods and produced piles of error overlap composite sand body. So that brings great trouble to distinguish single caused sand body, affects the relationship of injection and mining seriously and causes static and dynamic conflict. Therefore, accurate identification of a single sand body become the key to find the remaining oil.In this paper, based on the knowledge of Stratigraphy and Sedimentary characteristics in the area, Fluvial Sedimentology and high-resolution sequence Stratigraphy are used to split the cut stack of the composite sand body vertically, and then to do a single channel identification to the planar composite sand body. With that I further studied the braided channel sand layer non-homogeneous characteristics. Finally I studied the distribution of residual oil with the factors and the distribution features of the remaining oil.In this paper, based on the background of the regional deposition, 1024 wells in the study area have been re-contrasted and counted and then sedimentary microfacies plane distributions of each unit have been drawn. According to the actual situation of the study area, I've established classification standard of a sedimentary unit. Finally the residual oil has been studied from the fallowing aspects: underwater distributary channel is rhythmic layering the remaining parts of the upper low-permeability oil distribution and the injection imperfect relationship. So that has laid the foundation for adjusting and tapping the potential of study blocks.
