Research On Favorable Area Prediction Of The Chang 2 Reservoir Of Yanchang Series In Yangmijian Area

Ordos Basin is rich in oil and gas. Yangmijian area is in the middle of Yishan Slope, which has been explored and developed for more than several decades. The exploring of Mesozoic petroleum is made constantly progress, but the whole exploring exten is still low.This article comprehensively use the theory and method of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, reservoir geology, petroleum geology and well log geology. On the basis of logging data,combined with logging and core data, and applied both rich dynamic data, we made researehes of stratigraphic classification and correlation, sedimentary facie identlfication, the analysis of sedimentary facies and sand body determination distribution, as well as, some studies about reservoir features.of Chang 2 formation in Yangmijian Area. The paper conclusion that Chang 2 belonged to braided stream depositional system tract, the provenance was from north east and mainly developed channel, channel bar and flood plain. Due to controlling by sedimentary facies strictly, the channel sand was the frame sand, Chang 23,Chang 22 and Chang 21 sands have a good inheritance. Chang 2 formation was fine sandstone with feldspathic sandston, medium compositional maturity and gradation. The porosity ranged mostly from 12～17.0%, and the average was 11.0%. The permeability ranged mostly from 1.0-16×10-3μm2, and the average was 15.4×10-3μm2. Based on "four properties" a suit of reservoir parameter interpretation model which be applicable in the study of reservoir geology within researching area, oil and water identification chart was plotted, Using single-factor and multi-factor evaluation to make a comprehensive reservoir evaluation,then Selecte the favorable reservoir.We overally examine the sedimentary facies, sand body distribution, physical character, comprehensive reservoir evaluation and other factors, combined with the oil/gas enrichment distribution of the area. Selecte the favorable area for prospecting of Chang 2 formation.These above provide evidences for further exploration and exploitation.
