At the present time,the meandering rivers interbeds identification work is deep, but the braided rivers interbeds identification is hysteretic. Guantao Fm is divided into 10 sand layer groups from the bottom up, and the braided rivers gradually developed the meandering rivers. In this thesis, we carry on research based on the Guantao Fm5 sand groups in the Middle 2 North area in Gudao oil field. The sandstone bodies is abundant and continuous distribution in Guantao Fm53+4 beds, Also, So is high, but the sand beds is thin and discontinuous distribution in other beds.Firstly, the thesis describes subtly the rock cores of the airtight coring wells, analyzes core data, handles core micro slides, analyzes and obtains that Guantao Fm5 sand groups is braided rivers sediment. Also, we discern the channel stranded microfacies,heart beach sedimentary microfacies,river edge sedimentary subfacis,road between the low-lying sedimentary facies; Summarize the lithological composition and thickness of the rock core impermeable layers and so on. We analyze physicality and electric property of the impermeable layers, which are composed of different lithologis under different conditions, and determine the types and causes of interlayers. And then to combine the development dynamic data, scale the well logs, create log response models of different types interlayers and log interpretation aggregates, contrast none core holes by typical well log respondence pattern, and discern interbeds. Finally, discern the whole interbeds through well logs of more than 100 wells in the area, gather all interbeds statistics, analyze the relationship between interbeds and sedimentary facies, statistics of different sedimentary facies distribution of frequency and interlayer distribution density, and draw the interbed distribution frequency maps and density maps; And then on the basis of the sands subdivision time unit, by sedimentology theroy and reservoir sedimentation construction unit method, combining interlayer logging response characteristics and thickness statistics data, analyze space distributed discipline in different sandstone body interbeds, at the same time, using cyclothem contrasting technique, we predict qualitatively stable distributed well interlayers, and draw interbed plane distribution maps,profile distribution maps.In fluvial facies sediment, reservoirs change quickly and are heterogeneous. Interbeds make a difference. Because of the existence of interbeds, there are both the negative side and the positive side in thick oil thermal recovery. Only accurate to identify the interlayer and recognize the characters of its distribution can lead to the work of heavy oil thermal recovery carried out smoothly.
