The Design And Implementation Of Mineral Resource Management Information System Based On GIS

Mineral resources are not only the important component of the land resources, but aslo the non-renewable precious resources, so mineral resources management appears to be especially important. However the way of traditional mineral resources management is backward and inefficient, so it can not satisfy the development of the mineral resources plan and management in terms of the land resources department. In view of this, this article discusses some knowledge about establishing mineral resources management information system based on GIS technology, simultaneously makes some analysis to the design and establishment of the database.The development of system includes two parts, database construction and system module realization. This system take Oracle as the database platform to manage the spatial data and the attribute data by using the Arccatalog data supervisor to increase and the manage the data through the ArcSDE data channel. The system uses the C# development kit, combining ArcEngine and ArcGIS Server as the platform to carry on the GIS re-development, finally the C/S and B/S mixed pattern of mineral resource management system is realized.In the foundation of analysing users' needs, the system designs and realizes the prospecting right management, the reservation information inquiry and the comprehensive information inquiry system. Each subsystem has also realized the basic function. The realization of the system makes the mineral resource management to be more scientific and effective.
