Fungi in fresh water represent important resources in daily life of human beings. Corresponding studies started in 1980's in China, however, the impact was still unclear, a large number of resources need to be found and put into use. The purpose of this study was to analyze the diversity of freshwater fungi in Wuyiling Wetland Nature Reserve. A fixed-point continuous sampling's method was utilized in the present study. Altogether 30 genus 68 species of freshwater fungi were discovered, of which the dominant are Trichoderma and Penicillium;Aspergillus niger, Bionectria ochroleuca, Epicoccum nigrum, Fusarium sporotrichioides, Hypocrea lixii, Hypocrea viridescens, Mucor hiemalis, Penicillium aculeatum, Trichoderma atroviride, Trichoderma piluliferum, Trichoderma viride are dominant species; while Alternaria alternata, Alternaria arborescens, Alternaria azukiae, Alternaria tenuissima, Ceratobasidium sp, Chaetomium cladosporioides, Chaetomium globosum, Cosmospora coccinea, Cyclaneusma minus, Fusarium lateritium,F.tricinctum,Myrothecium verrucaria,Nectria cinnabarin,Neobulgaria pura, Paraconiothyrium brasiliense,Penicillium commune,Penicillium dipodomyicola,Pestalotiopsis olivacea,Pichiaguilliermondii,Pythium citrinum,Rhizopus oryzae,Rhizopus stolonifer, Sphaeropsis sapinea,T.hamatum are rare species. The types of the freshwater fungi in this study (30 genera,68 species) are lower than Dianchi Lake, but higher than Lake Erhai(28 genera), Beijing(14 genera,21 species) and Zhalong Wetland Nature Reserve in Heilongjiang (20 genera,24 species). Furthermore the species, superiority and dominant species are largely diffenrent from the above areas. It is because the unique latitude and the climatic conditions which affect the local water quality, water temperature and plant species. The result not only filled freshwater fungal research gaps in Wuyiling Wetland Nature Reserve and provide reference for the protection and study of the biosystem, but also supply the fungi resources for further development and utilization.
