The coal seam gas, which is born in coal seam and stored in the coal seam or rock, is the product of geological processes. Generation, migration, and preservation conditions of coal seam gas are controlled by comprehensive geology. The current coal seam gas occurrence is the result of the coal-bearing strata with a complex geological evolution.In this paper, study mining area of the tectonic location construction and tectonic evolution characteristics, with the theory of plate tectonics, regional tectonic evolution and gas occurrence constructed level by level control theory; study the mine structures and gas occurrence controlled by tectonics; moreover, study the gas geology laws of Shamushu coal mine with a large number of gas content and gas pressure dates.Based on the research of the tectonic controlling characteristics on mining area and mine gas geology laws, analysis the main factors controlled of the gas content in Shamushu mine with the method of regression analysis and gray correlation analysis. The impact factors of coal and gas outburst with gray correlation analysis are considered, and make forecasts about the gas content and coal and gas area outburst by combining with the measured data and gas geology laws.
