Under the influence of human engineering activities, the reactivities fault which in the mining zone, We called reactivated fault of mine. Fault activation caused by mining activities is a common phenomenon.They not only make the construction and road damaged, and also change groundwater runoff, In the coal production, outburst, roof fall, sudden water and other disastrous accidents have a relationship with activated fault. also.Direct the problem of fault reactivation, This paper analyzes the affect that is in the vicinity of fault on the stress and strain by underground mining. and based on ANSYS software to simulate the shaft and tunnel damaged caused by the reactivities fault .The results show, the fault affected by the excavation as a low-intensity band rock the body, the stress and strain fields in the vicinity of fault will change, when the regional stress field and mining stress field superposition, so applied to the fracture surface shear stress greater than the crack surface friction, the fault will slip and damage to occur, make roadway and surrounding rock deformated and ruptured also. Mainly as follows: (1) When there is fault within the rock movement caused by excavation, the fault re-activity increased stress and shear stress of the roadway vicinity of the fault level withstand, can damage shaft or tunnel seriously, which differences in roadway damage without fault. (2) When the fault along the plate and lower toward the upper plate near the excavation, that most likely to make fault reactivation, causing or aggravating roadway bear bias, resulting in local deformation of roadway severely damaged. (3) When the tunnel was larger angle with the fault to excavation, the stress field near the faults will change. In front of the stress concentration coefficient increases,at a certain distance away from the section, the stress concentration increasing to a maximum ,so in this section of roadway roof will damaged most likely. (4) there are many factors make the roadway deformation and failure ,one of the reasons is fault activation. research for the surrounding roadway affected by the fault deformation and failure prediction and prevention is important..
