On Information Disclosure Of Local Government's Response To Major Natural Disaster

Since 20th century 70s, along with the deterioration of the global climate conditions, natural disasters occur frequently. At the same time , the rapid development of information technology networks. Under the promotion of the information revolution, driven by responding to major natural disasters has been the source of information dissemination strategy for power. Those provided technical support for the government disaster prevention and reduction . Disaster emergency information system provide a strong protection for improving the Government's response to major natural disasters. The Government attaches great importance to make natural disasters information public, our Government had officially promulgated regulations on the disclosure of government information, that also marked the local government's skill of major public natural disaster information got a landmark development. But the reality is that there is asymmetry between the Government and public, government is the owner of disaster information while the public extremely lack of natural disaster information. By law publics have rights to enjoy various types of disaster information, but in reality these rights are not protected.
