The adding alloying elements in carbon steel, it can improve the mechanical properties of seamless steel tube and the use of performance, but adding alloying elements also increase production cost and deteriorate cycle performance of steel. Theoretical study and experimental results show that low temperature,high speed and large deformation of metal rolling means can achieve grain refinement and phase transition strengthening, which enhance the mechanical properties of metallic materials fully. However ,this approach would also arise a huge rolling deformation resistance ,the drive force of rolling equipment must increase accordingly, which arise new issues for using exist equipment to roll seamless steel tube of ultra-grain refinement. This paper aims at characteristics of seamless steel pipe, by successful of experience of vibration technology in turning,drilling,grinding,boring,stretching and other mechanical processing, we will introduce vibration rolling technology into the rolling process of seamless steel pipe. Integrate application vibration theory,elastic-plastic theory,the theory of metal plastic deformation,contact mechanics and numerical method, combination of analytic method and computer simulation technology and other means, the vibration rolling seamless steel tube is conducted a more comprehensive study for the first time.The main contents of work and achievement including:1. With the elastic-plastic theory and theory of metal plastic deformation, analyze the relationship between stress and strain in rolling deformation zone of continuous rolling mill, basing contact mechanics, obtain contact stiffness and contact friction coefficient under the condition of material resilience environment, establish mechanics model of vibration rolling of continuous rolling mill.2. Basing theoretical analysis of vibration rolling, establish vibration rolling model of seamless steel tube with a periodic contact and separation of roller and steel tube, deduce the differential equation of vibration rolling of continuous rolling mill, quantitative description of the vibration rolling process.3. In the process of vibration rolling, study changes of contact areas and friction coefficient of roller and steel tube. Establish nonlinear expression of system vibration equation with elastic-plastic contact, probe the singularity and stability of the nonlinear system, and establish the system vibration equation with the elastic-plastic contact.4. Solving vibration response and amplitude-frequency characteristics of the steady-state rolling of continuous rolling mill, optimization the prime vibration parameters of vibration rolling, analytical the steady-state response of continuous rolling under the exciting force. Make sure that vibration rolling can improve relative friction and contact condition between roller and capillary, reduction deformation resistance of metal, provide the conditions for developing higher performance seamless steel tube. To promote technological updating of rolling equipment of seamless steel tube.
