Continuous rolling-seamless steel pipe is an advanced technique to realize steel pipe product modernization and high-speed development. At present, in the research method of rolling-force calculation model, the more is on the foundation of traditional flat-panel empirical formula, complex and error, but the fewer is on the foundation of the characteristic of plastic transform in the course of rolling. Therefore, establishing the precise and practical rolling-force calculation model has become a research project with important applied worth in the continuous rolling-seamless steel pipe field.The detailed research to the current rolling-force calculation model is proceeded in this paper passing idiographic instance. The mian blemish and shortage is pointed out, and that the current calcution model can't satisfy the request of actual production is confirmed. On the base of analyzing the influence factor, such as mechanical capability and stress status characteristic of rolling material, osculant areas, modified scheme of the calculation model is put forword and the modified model is established. For the sake of more reasonably certaining the characteristic of the complicated nonlinear contact and every kind of initial and boundary conditions, ANSYS/LS-DYNA explicit dynamic FEM software is made use of to numerical-simulate the steel pipe process. And then, according the FEM numerical simulation result, the coefficient value of the modified model is made sure. Moreover, the transform characteristic of section is analyzed, the dynamic change process of rolling-force, stress and strain is reappeared and the variety regulation is analyzed. Through the contrast the variety regulation between the simulation and the spot-line measurement, the conclusion that the datum are matched basically is obtained. Thus that the method of ANSYS/LS-DYNA explicit dynamic FEM is available can be confirmed. In consideration of the flexibility of the roller and the material chemistry composition of the influnce to the rolling-force, the on-line datum are made use of to amend the modified model for higher calculation accuracy and the general use. And the main influence factors is discussed to verify the practicability ofthe amended model. At last, through the on-line supervision system of rolling-force mechanical parameter, the rolling-force is tested and the spot datum is analyzed to further verify the actual dependable in the production and the feasibility of the method of ANSYS/LS-DYNA explicit dynamic FEM.In summary, the accurate and practical rolling-force calculation model is established with higher accuracy and general use, and the model can satisfy the request of the actual production, easily realize real-time surpervise and control. And most importantly, the method of ANSYS/LS-DYNA explicit dynamic FEM is avalible and the result has important leading meaning to the practice.
