Organic compounds containing two or more of the benzene ring linked to a class of compounds known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Recent studies found that cancer-prone, infant malformation, cell variation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocar- bons such as superscalar and the environment are closely related to PAHs, scholars pay more attention on various countries and the Environmental Protection Agency on the number of PAHs in environmental institutions. This article describes the types of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, nature, hazards, sources and migration law; solid samples, such as coal gangue, soil, sediment polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sediment enrichment testing methods. Combination of analysis chemistry, environmental chemistry, organic geochemistry theory of method, using the traditional classical Soxhlet extraction pre-processing techniques such as gas chromatography and efficient detection of Xingtai Gequan gangue mineral - soil, sediment deposits and other series of samples in the composition of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the content and distribution and occurrence regularity and studying the pattern of migration and transformation to explore the process of coal waste pile in the weathering of the surrounding environmental media such as soil impact. By comparing the different sampling areas and different levels of PAHs in the sample changes in the environmental impact of PAHs was evaluated for the mine to provide scientific basis for prevention and control of environmental pollution. This priority control according to the U.S.EPA standard samples of 16 PAHs measured data as a standard curve to determine the content of PAHs in the collected samples, collected samples of soil organic matter content of surface samples decreased with the increase with distance, and are far much higher than the background content of the sample, some contamination of the environment; soil samples detected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in less than gangue and gangue in the concentrations are several times more than the content of the soil. Sediment and the pollutants in waste rock to be more than, obviously with the leaching of organic matter in the water to the pond to the bottom after the deposition, the background value content over multiple of 163 times the maximum. But also trace elements of the gangue hill was tested and found that heavy metal content than the background of large times, the surrounding environment, coal is the main source of heavy metals. The author study done for the first time of the coal gangue hill of Gequan, the conclusion the result of mine waste rock pile the soil, Caused by mining coal refuse pile of soil, water, elevated levels of PAHs in sediments with a contaminated area, endangering a long time and so, therefore, be caused by environmental protection departments attach great importance to strengthen and lucubrate in this area .
