Integrated hollow core sandwich composites are widely used in engineering structure composites, especially in building material, rail transit. It should owe to their high specific strength and specific stiffness, especially their integrity and designable structure. In addition to meet these areas'basic mechanical properties, the composites should have sound insulation performance. The topic has a research on the structure of core fibre designing and weaving perform of the composites, and focuses on the sound insulation performance of this material. Respectively discussed the relations between the sound insulation performance and core fiber structure, height of the composites, thickness of the panel are study. In addition, the materials to be used in these areas must have specific mechanical properties. So the topic also researches the mechanical properties in order to meet the sound insulation at the basis of a strength requirement. The main research contents consist of the following three parts:(1) Design core fiber structure and prepare the performs. Three core structure, five thicknesses, two height of the plain are choose according to the experts'advice, correlated references and practical weaving conditions. The composites are weaving on the rapier loom which is developed by Jiang Nan University. Hand lay-up molding is used to mold the hollow integrated fabric. Finally, the composites with different core structure, thickness and different thickness of the panel are prepared.(2)Test the mechanical performance of the different core fiber composites because the mechanical performance of the height of the composites, thickness of the panel are done in the case of other parameters are the same. Referring to National standards, its basic mechanical experiments are performed (including flatwise compression, side-compression, bending, impact resistance).It is necessary to get and analysis the experimental results.(3)Measure the sound insulation performance of the composites. Using reverberation chamber method according to many related literatures measures the sound insulation performance under the sound of high frequency and low frequency sound. It can get the sound transmission loss under the different frequency. The relations between the sound insulation performance and core fiber structure, height of the composites, thickness of the panel are study. Analyze the possible reasons to get some useful conclusions. It can provide theoretical basis for the enlargement of the application of materials.
