Oxidation stability is one of the important properties of biodiesel, but most of the oxidation stability of biodiesel is poor, basically doesn't reach the national standard which is not less than 6 hours. Therefore, oxidation stability of biodiesel is constantly to improve the quality of bio-diesel, bio-diesel technology to address the constraints necessary for the bottleneck link. In recent years, bio-diesels oxidation stability at home and abroad of research is gradually increasing.Bio-diesel due to contain more unsaturated fatty acid esters, oxidation stability worse. Oil inevitably contact with oxygen, coupled by the light, heat, moisture and other metals as well as the impact of the catalytic oxidation can easily be affected by deterioration of biodiesel life and normal use. In which the water will lead to bio-diesel and with the free fatty acid oxidation generates acid solution, while water itself is corrosive to metal, on the other hand water in the promotion of bio-diesel micro-organisms such as yeast, fungi and bacteria growth, these organisms can be mud and may block the formation of the diesel filter. It auto-oxidation can cause deterioration of fuel quality, thus affecting its physical properties, such as the kinematic viscosity, acid value and peroxide changes. Biodiesel also contains a double bond instability, long-term use in the polymerization reaction occurs in asphalt colloidal macromolecular material, which led to knot plastic fuel systems, filters and nozzle blockage and other issues. This shows that oxidation of biodiesel will not only affect the quality of oil, but also affect the operation of motor vehicles on the system, reduce the life of the machine.In this paper, the composition of the characteristics of biodiesel, oxidation stability's evaluation methods and principles, oxidation stability and methods to improve the situation in domestic and foreign research reviewed in this paper put forward the future of biodiesel oxidative stability of biodiesel should strengthen research oxidation mechanism, Oxidation Stability evaluation methods as well as research-based bio-diesel common antioxidants. Of this thesis is the completion of the following aspects of work:1.Self-made four kinds of bio-diesel, respectively, as follows:acid oil bio-diesel, bio-diesel cottonseed oil, soybean oil bio-diesel, waste frying oil biodiesel.2. Measured four kinds of bio-diesel without additives were added, when, as well as 500ppm,800ppm, 1000ppm,2000ppm,3000ppm,5000ppm, when the oxidation induction period.3. Were investigated for each bio-diesel, in four different antioxidants, each of six different doses in cases where oxidation stability.4. Were investigated for each of four different anti-oxidants on bio-diesel to add six different doses of each case of the impact of oxidation stability.
