Chemiluminescence(CL) analysis is a method based on the light emission produced from the chemical reactions. when coupled with flow injection. It can improve the sensitivity, easy operation, rapid analysis, et al; Therefore, this method has been widely used in the analysis of trace chemical substances. The paper mainly refers to the analytical application of flow injection chemiluminescence in pharmaceutical, metal ion and Amino acid analysis, mainly content as follow.(1) A novel flow-injection chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of cephradine has been developed. It was based on chemiluminescence reaction of potassium ferricyanide and Luminol in sodium hydroxide medium, and cephradine can enhance this chemiluminescence reaction greatly. In the optimum conditions, the enhanced intensity of chemiluminescence was proportional to the concentration of cephradine in the range of 4.58×10-7 4.58×10-4mol/L and the detection limit was 8.01×10-8 mol/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 0.99% for 2.29×10-4 mol/L cephradine (n=11). The proposed method has been applied to the determination of cephradine in a medicament with satisfactory results.(2) A rapid flow-injection method with chemiluminescence(CL) analytical method was described for the determination of L-aspartic acid in sodium hydroxide medium. It was observed that CL signal of Luminol-KMnO4 was strongly enhanced in the presence of L-aspartic acid. The experamental parameters influencing the CL intensity were studied in detail. The analytical approach based on the system was established under the optimal experimental conditions. The CL intensity was linear with L-aspartic acid concentration in the range of 1.0×10-6 mol/L 1.0×10-3mol/L, and the detection limit (3σ) was 4.6×10-7mol/L. The relative standard deviation of 11 determinations was 1.38% for 1.0×10-5mol/L L-aspartic acid. The proposed method was satisfactorily applied to the determination of L-aspartic acid in a synthetic amino acid mixture sample, and the recovery was between 97.5 % 105 % .(3) CdS Quantum Dots (QDs)were synthesized by using citrate as the stabilizer in aqueous system. Through studied the influence of its fluorescence character and the size distribution on chemiluminescence, It was found that the mixing of CdS Quantum Dots with Luminol in the presence of KMnO4 can induce a great sensitized effect on chemiluminescence (CL) emission. However, Cu2+ have a strong inhibition effect on Luminol-KMnO4-CdS QDs CL system. Based on the finding, a new simple and quick method for determination on Cu2+ in the water was estabhshed. In the optimum conditions, CL intensity is proportional to concentration of Cu2+ in the range of 1.0×10-10mol/L 1.0×10-7 mol/L, and the detection limit was 3.77×10-11 mol /L. The proposed method has been applied to the determination of Cu2+ in the water with satisfactory results. The mechanism of the CL reaction has also been discussed .
