Fine slag and black water used as stabilizers of petroleum coke slurry, the results of the study showed that fine slag could obviously improve the stability of the slurry and the stability time increased upon an increase of the dosage of fine slag dosage. When fine slag is 15%(wt) of the total solid, the maximum solids concentration of the slurry could get to 71 %(wt) with the superior apparent viscosity, fluidity and stability available for practical utilization. And when black water was 100%(wt) of total liquid, the solids concentration of the slurry could get to 73%(wt).The co-gasification kinetics characteristic of petroleum coke slurry had been investigated by high-pressure thermogravimetric analysis system. Petroleum coke with lower gasification activity due to.the pore structure underdeveloped, graphitization serious and low alkali content. The results show that black water, coarse slag and fine slag could catalyze petroleum coke gasification. Black water catalysis far above coarse slag and fine slag. The catalysis of alkali metal is relevant with ion species, ionic union form and decentralized state. Alkali metal could enhance carbon surface of CO2 absorption functiong and enlarge the specific surface area of petroleum coke at high temperatures.
