In this paper, the synthesis of N-alkyacrylamide, using diisobutylene/tert-butyl alcohol and acrylonitrile as the raw material, concentrated sulfuric acid as the catalyst was studied. The relationship of the yield and reaction temperature, sulfuric acid concentration, reaction time, the ratio of diisobutylene/tert-butyl alcohol and concentrated sulfuric acid, the ratio of diisobutylene/tert-butyl alcohol and acrylonitrile was studied in detail by orthogonal experiments, and the optimization of single-factor experiment was studied too. For N-tert-Octylacrylamide, when the reaction time is 4h, the temperature is 35℃, the molar ratios of diisobutylene and acrylonitrile is 1:1.4, and diisobutylene and concentrated sulfuric acid is 1:1.1, the yield is the highest,90.4%. For N-tert-Butylacrylamide, when the reaction time is 3h, the temperature is 40℃, the molar ratios of tert-butyl alcohol and acrylonitrile is 1:0.9, and acrylonitrile and concentrated sulfuric acid is 1:1, the yield is the highest,98.4%.The melting point of the products was tested by microscopic meting point meter and the content of the products was tested by IR.The next step, N-alkyacrylamide, acrylic acid and acrylate were used for the synthesis of the terpolymer. The influence of the different polymerization conditions on the terpolymer in different polymerization medium was studied. The results show that, in alcohol medium, taking N-tert-Octylacrylamide, methyl methacrylate and acrylic acid as comonomer, benzoyl peroxide as initiator, and adding some inorganic alkali solution before the end of the reaction, the stereotyped resin with excellent properties can be prepared. In water medium, taking benzoyl peroxide as initiator, N-tert-Butylacrylamide, methacrylate and acrylic acid as comonomer, the stereotyped resin with excellent properties can be prepared. The content of the terpolymer was tested by IR. By gel-permeation chromatography, the molecular weight is tested. The terpolymer was also analized by TG. What's more, the terpolymer has passed the application function test.
