Research on copolymerization of carbon monoxide and olefins was started in 1950s. Polyketone, which had photodegradability and abundant raw material, has gotten much attention. The copolymerization of carbon monoxide and styrene was an important field in polyketone synthesis. This study presented investigation on the performance of the catalyst and yield in the field. In order to improve the machined performance of the polyketone—STCO,the third monomer—4-methylstyrene was added into copolymerization system of CO and styrene. It was catalyzed by palladium acetate and rare earth multiplex catalyst system. The effects of the components including palladium acetate, 2,2'-bipyridyl ,benzoquinone, p-toluensulfonic acid on catalytic activity were investigated, and the influence of different rare earth on the reaction was also studied. The effect of amount of the third monomer—4-methylstyrene on the thermodynamics performance of the production was studied primary. The polymer was characterized by IR, DSC and TG. Result showed that the yield was the linear copolymer of carbon monoxide, styrene and 4-methylstyrene. The machined performance was improved effectively after importing 4-methylstyrene. The highest catalytic activity was 815.17g/(gPd·h)when reaching optimum condition.Reaction of chloromethyl polystyrene resins with aminating agent O-Phenylenediami- -ne or dimethylamine and reduction of palladium acetate immobilized on functional resins. There resin -supported catalyst was applied to copolymerization of CO and styrene. The effects of the components of catalytic system and reaction time on catalytic activity were studied. The reusability of the resin -supported catalyst was also investigated. The catalyst was characterized by IR,XPS,ICP. The aminated functional resin (O-Phenylenediamine) -supported catalyst was found to have catalytic activity on the compolymerization of CO and ST. It also had a liitle catalytic activity after 5 runs. The other aminated functional (dimethylamine) resizn was found have no catalytic activity on the reaction.Ionic liquid N-hexylpyridium hexafluorophosphate was used reaction media in synthesis of polyketone. The catalytic activity of [Pd(N-N)2][BF4]2 in ionic liquid and methanol was compared. The reusability of ionic liquid contained catalyst was also investigated. The catalyst was characterized by element analysis. Polymer was characterized by IR, DSC and TG. Results suggested that the highest catalytic activity...
