Multi-wire saw has higher efficiency, greater technology and lower cost, so it will become the main equipment in the area of semiconductor cutting. However, in the course of processing, the complexity of speed synchronization of all motors has a high requirement of the control system of the multi-wire saw. Now the import multi-wire saw takes up the major market in our country, and the control method of multi-wire saw made in our country is not mature. Therefore, it is significant to study the control system in high-speed multi-wire saw.This article analyzes working principle, structure and working process of multi-wire saw; proposes the requirement of the control system of the machine; establishes the kinematics and dynamics model of the control system; establishes the model of servo motor according to the principle and structure of servo motor. On this basis, this paper analyzes the problem of existing method in synchronous velocity control, designs a PID control method and obtains a good result according to the simulation of the control system.To solve the problem of excessive vibration intensity in the wire, this paper improves the methods of changing velocity and producing tension, and designs a control method of tension feedback. All of the methods reduce the wire vibration intensity greatly. At last, this article analyzes interferences in the control system of multi-wire saw and debugs the machine. The results prove that the control system could run well and improve the working speed and the stability of the multi-wire saw.
