A New Study On Stripping For Polyester Fabrics

This paper has studied a new stripping method used in removing the disperse dyes of the polyester fabric, and included the optimum technology used in removing redients the disperse dyes of the polyester. There are two steps in process of stripping on polyester, First, chose the appropriate swelling agent to decrease the binding of disperse dyes molecular and polyester fabric, swell the polyester fabric 20 minutes at 120℃, and then use the stripping agent to remove the disperse dyes of the polyester fabrics for 30minutes at 110℃, stripping effects are satisfactory, the K/S value is decrease about 80%~90%, and strong trauma of polyester fabric is during 9%~15% after stripping process. Swelling agent and stripping agent could recycled and used for stripping again, disperse dyes and polyester fabric could recycled as well, the recycled swelling agent and stripping agent could used for stripping again, the recycled polyester fabric and disperse dyes could used for dyeing, so environment pollution that caused by the stripping is reduced obviously. The experiments analysis demonstrates that the factors of the stripping effect are the swelling agent, the time and the temperature of the fabrics swelling and stripping, The effects will be strengthened with the time and the temperature of swelling and stripping process, Then the stripping effects will be stable. Through the experiments find that compare with other disperse dyes, The polyester fabric that dyed with disperse yellow 3GSL swelling effect and stripping effect is worse, while the swelling and stripping effect of disperse gray SBL and disperse deep brown S-2RFL are better, this mainly related to the structure characteristic of disperse dyes and the strength during disperse dyes molecular with polyester fiber molecular.
