Fast-solving polyacrylamide is to satisfy the demand for tertiary oil recovery technology in Shengli Oilfield, the success of the research is due to the properties of good solubility,heat resistant ,salts tolerant and anti-shear. Polyacrylamide (PAM) ,a kind of water-soluble polymer with a special structure, is not only widely used as flooding agent for EOR,but also widely used in chemical, metallurgy, geology, coal, paper, textile, water processing industry, Therefore,it is very necessary to prepare the Polyacrylamide (PAM) and toconduct its application research for the national economy development and environmental protect.1. The first synthesized hydrophobic sulfonic monomer 2 - acrylamido-8 alkyl sulfonate (AMC8S) is to provide for the synthesis of polyacrylamide monomer, the effect of the ratio of raw materials, inhibitor, the dropping of the fuming sulfuric acid , sulfonation time and reaction time of exploration, the optimum conditions of synthesis were determinded.2. By using a complex initiating system of potassium persulfate(K2 S 2 O8 ) and sodium bisulfite(NaHSO3 ) PAM was synthesized with acrylamide (AM), acrylic acid (AA), 2 - acrylamido-8 alkyl sulfonate (HAMC 8S) and diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DMDAAC) througth aqueous solutiom polymerization.3. By the orthogonal experiment, varying factors,i.e monomer concentration, reaction temperature, initiator dosage, pH value, and reaction time affect polymer properties, By the single-factor experiments, the optimum conditions of synthesis were determined as follows: monomer concentration 25%; reaction temperature 20~25℃;initiator dosage 0.05~0.075%;pH value 7~8; reaction time 8~10h.4. By IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy and other analytical tools ,it revealed that the structure of the synthetic polymer; through the morphology of polymer aggregation, the result shows, the polymer with the function of self-assembly, in solution the aggregation state is mainly tubular micelles, and the tubular micelles were cross-linked with each other to form a three-dimensional cage-like structure, which will help improve the thermal stability of polymers.
