On the basis of summarizing recent research on biodegradation of composite organic and anthraquinone dyes, the biodegrading properties and regularity of bromanine acid 梞edia of anthraquinone are studied in this paper. The following conclusion was draw from the experiment. Fifteen strains are isolated from the sludge, each of which can decoiorize bromanine acid efficiently? After rescreening strain Pseudomonas JR-2with stable decoioring characteristic was obtained. This strain can use various kinds of saccharide, beef extraction and yeast extraction as carbon source and energy source. When strain JR-2 decolorizes the bromanine acid, it is unnecessary to add extra nitrogen source or inorganic ion such as Ca2? Fe>, Mg2?and trace elements. Its optimal growth temperature and PH were 30C and 4-9,respectively. Degradation reaction rate by JR-2 in shake cultivation was obviously higher than that in static cultivation, and under airtight condition JR-2 has no degrading ability on bromanine acid. The optimum stage of inoculation is in Log phase, the amount of inoculation is 10%, and the maximum endurance capacity?against bromanine acid is 2400mg/i. At the same time, the resistance to metal cations of strain JR-2 was studied, and the sequence of toxicity of metal cations on the strain is: Hg>Cr>Ag>Cu>Ni>Co>Pb. The degradation rates of strain JR-2 at different concentration of bromarnime acid was also obtained. Whole the concentration of bromanine acid was lower than I 600mg/i, the degradation procedure accords with one rate reaction, and while the concentration was higher than 1 600mg/i, the procedure accords with zero rate reaction. The accidence study on the degradation mechanism of bromanine acid by JR-2 was done. Under the work of strain yellow, and the circle structure of bromanine acid was destroyed. After cultivation, the removal rate of COD and TOC are 30% and 45%, respectively, and the maximum absorption peak in visible spectrum shifted from 470nm to 4lOnni, and the maximum absorption peak in violet spectrum shifted from 232nm and 250nm to 200nm. The degradation of 7different kinds of dyes by JR-2strain was studied, the results showed that JR-2strain has strong specificity, neither at using dyes as single carbon source conditions nor co-metabolism it can decolorize these different kinds of dyes, so the application of this strain needs more advanced research.
