L-carnitine isakindofbasiccornposition of microorganisn~ animaland plan, and has many physiological functions. At clinical practice, it can be used for curing heart blood vessel disease~ kidney leak~ liver disease., diabetes~ acute ammonia toxicosis~. stupor and nervous system disease, and can be used as food and drinking additives and feed additives. It will cause some diseases if L-carnitine is poor in body. L-carnitine is a very important "Conditional nutriment". It has wide use and potential market requirement. It has been catching people's much interesting. The research and exploitment of its synthesis and use is becoming a focus all over the world. The thesis sets out from epichlorohyclrin, and researchs a method of using a new resoMng agent to synthesize L-carnittne chloride It's synthetic route IS:1.The synthesis of DL-carnitine chloride:CHCH2CINaCNMe 3N HC1 ~ (CH3) 3NCH2CHCH2CI) cv-.OH( (CH3) 3NCH2CHCH2CN) cv hydrolysis ( (CH3) 3NCH2CHcH2COOH) cvOHOH2.The synthesis of L- carnitine chloride:COOHCHOOCC6H5CHO~C6H5(DL-) ( (cH3) 3~NCH~HCH2COOH) ci(L)C~HOHcoo(CR0 3NCH4HCH2COOH CHOOCC6H5 HCI (L-) ( (CR0 3NCH~HCH2OHOHCHOOCC6H5COOH) cvCOOHThe thesis is dMded into three parts. The first part sununarizes L-camitine's physiological functions. synthesis methods and uses; The second part researchs the synthetic technology of DL-carnitine; The third part researchs the synthetictechnology of L-carnitine resolved from DL-carnitine. During the course of 'vace-micresolution a new resolving agent named dibenzoyl- L- tartaric acid is used. Author discusses the effect on resolution caused by different degents and different temperatures, and has a comparison between the method and anther, and finds that the method~s condition of resolution is faciler and the resolving effect is better.Meanwhile, all the intermediates and the product mentioned in the thesis have been appraised by means of liR, and the product has also been appraised by means of'HNMR~a'3CNMR.
