In this article,we describes synthesis and characteiization of some indenyllanthanide aniides We have also studied their catalytic activities for the polymeiization of methyl metbacrylate. 1. Reactions of anhydrous LnC13 with 3 equiv of LINR2 gave the following compounds: LiY(NPh)4CHF),LiSm(NPh2)4(flff)4LiY[N(CH2.)5]CHF),LiSm(NPr12)4CfHF), the four compounds were characterized by elementaiy analysis and JR 2. The moleadar stmctrue of complex LiY(NPh2)4C[HF)4 was detmined by X-ray diffractrmeter The results revealed that this complex is composed of a discrete cation and anion ion-pair In [Li(rHF)4J,tbe Li atom adopts a trahedral geometry with four molecules of tetrahydrofiran coordinated to the Li atom via the oxygen atoms. the anion [Y(NPh)4] can be described as a distorted tetrahedron with the Y atom coordinated by four terminal NPh2 groups. 3. The precusors LiLn(NR2)4CITIFX react with 2equiv. of Indene in toluene to give the following compounds: Ind2SmNP?2, Ind2YbNIY2, Ind2SmNPh2, Ind2SmN(CH All these compounds were characterized by elementary analysis and lB... 4.The two compounds, Ind2SmN-P?2 and Ind2SmN(CH)5 were tested to be used as catalysts for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate. The results indicate that both compounds show good catalytic activity and the reaction can be carned out over a quite broad range of polymerization temperatures from -780Cto 40(2. the catalytic activity of these complexes decreases with the increasing of the temperature of polymerization...
