This paper reports the experimental results of a chemical modified carbon paste electrode with a charge-transfer complex of 2+ Cu which could electrocatalyze the reduction of oxygen and result in the decrease of the reduction potential .Therefore, this eletrode could be used to determine oxygen with high selectivity~ quick response~ wide linear range. high measuring accuracy and good stability. Moreover, the electrode material is cheap, more simply for facture and extraordinary stability. It overcomes the faulty of unstability and short service life of the chemically modified electrode. It is suitable for commercial using. We are also designing the structure of the dissolved oxygen sensor, and hope to make a intelligent sensor.
