The Research On The Free Surface Modeling And NC Machining Location

ABSTRACTThis thesis concludes the representation of matrix of the point vector and normal vector for Bicubic, 2x3 degree NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) surface and discusses how to acquire the control vertex from data point.At the same time, the mathematical model of complicated blade is constructed with 2X3 degree NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) surface and the location data for NC machining of free surface on the blade is calculated in this thesis which is showed by computer.
