With the continuous development of science and technology,Higher requirements for machining accuracy and machining efficiency of mechanical products are also promoted,and the development of five axis NC machining technology is also promoted.NURBS curve interpolation technology has become a hot and difficult point in the research of complex curved surface machining.In order to solve the problem of low precision and difficult machining of complex surface parts,the NURBS curve is used to model the parts,and the NURBS interpolation is carried out At home and abroad.This method can effectively improve the accuracy and machining quality of complex surface parts modeling.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to study the NURBS interpolation theory and method of five axis NC machining.Aiming at the problem of complicated structure and high precision of complex curved surface parts,Taking the impeller blade surface data as an example,based on the NURBS geometric modeling method and theory,the surface modeling method is analyzed,and the accurate modeling of the integral impeller is realized in the CATIA environment.Aiming at the discrete linear tool location data,the two NURBS curves of the tool tip and the tool axis point are fitted by the fitting algorithm to realize the NURBS of the tool path,Based on CATIA,Non interference tool path generation of five axis NURBS interpolation of the integral impeller,and the high quality tool path output is achieved.In order to meet the requirements of machining efficiency and interpolation precision,the method of feeding speed adaptive control error is proposed,and realizes the high quality NURBS interpolation processing.Based on the local adjustability of NURBS weight,the method of setting NURBS weights is proposed to realize the local trimming of the machined surface.Based on the IMSPOST platform,a special post processor is developed,which realizes the high efficiency output of NC program with NURBS interpolation function.In order to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the NURBS interpolation method,the WFL M40 NC machining simulation platform is constructed based on VERICUT,Taking the integral impeller as an example,the example is verified and the actual machining.The experimental results show:The five axis NURBS interpolation has obvious advantages in the machining of complex curved surface,which can obtain high precision machining surface quality,realize the five axis NC high efficiency and high precision machining of complex surface,which provides theoretical guidance and application value for five axis NC machining of complex surfaces.
