Exploratory Synthesis Of Biflaviones

Five new derivatives of the 4-pyrones were synthesized by the reaction of diacyl chloride with enamines deriving from the ketones, their structures were confirmed by the conventional IR, NMR,mass spectra and elemental analysis.
