This thesis is to study a problem about the deformation of the northern slope between the cross section W200 and the cross section W600. of Fushun West Open-pit. On the base of studying the mechanical quality and the creep character of weak rock, to combine the solution of creep of weak rock and other solution of Drucker-Prager of rock , we establish mechanical models by analying water permeability under the northern slope.To calaculate the deformation of the slope in a three-dimensional numerical simulation by the finite element software ANSYS 5.5, then compare the computational results with the old supervisal ones on the northern slope and dispersed element ones.We find the correct model about the future deformation of the northern slope. Along with time ,we predict that the deformation will develop ,and put forward the relevant measures.
