Presently, people take more cares of the problem of acid rain pollution. This paper researched some problems of serious acid rain pollution of TongLing City that is in Controlling Acid Rain Area, combining the project that AnHui Province utilize loan of ADB to treat air pollution and acid rain along Yangtse River valley. The thesis put forward research's content by comprehensivly analyzing progress and problems of acid deposotion. The thesis adopted fuzzy comprehensive assessment method to assess air environment quality of TongLing City and explains most air environment problem of TongLing City. At the same time, detailedly analysed acid rain's character, quality, changing trend and cause of formation by rain monitoring data of the near ten years.Under the background of TongLing City, the thesis's utilized calculating value methods of environment economics and reasearchd method of calculating economical loss owing to acid rain. It can provide evidence to correctly assess acid deposition's influence. In detail,it utilized market-value method to calculate agricultural loss, perfected traditional and modified manpower-capital method and used this method calculate poople's health loss, and utilized resuming-expense method to calculate material loss owing to acid deposition's pollution. At last, analysed percent of all kinds of losses and compared them to foreign regions. The thesis consititued measures controlling acid rain in different periods and analysed all kinds of controlling measures by programe of comprehensive preventing and treating SO2.The research result indicated that acid rain of TongLing City is serious and it has brought great economical loss. It is no time to delay that we take controlling measures.
