| hi this paper, the solubility of methane hi water was studied combined with kinetic mechanism of methane hydrate formation. The work performed can be divided into four parts.In the first part, the literature on the crystal structure, properties, and applications of gas hydrates, correlation of the solubility of hydrocarbons in water, as well as the progress of gas solubility in water at low temperature and intermediate pressure was reviewed.hi the second part, experimental apparatus, experimental procedure, and design of main equipment were introduced. Attention is focused on the characteristic, structure and main technological parameters of high-pressure reactor, buffer tank, gas compressor, digital refrigerated circulator bath. The kinetic data of hydrate formation in pure water was obtained experimentally.In the third part, based on the experimental data, the number of cages and kinetic parameters were estimated. And the rationality of parameters was examined. The results show that the kinetic parameters can describe the kinetic behavior of methane hydrate formation.In the last part, the solubility of methane in water at hydrate conditions was calculated by kinetic model and equation of state. To draw comparison, the former is substantially higher than the later. Combined with hydrate formation mechanism, the calculated results were analyzed and discussed with methane fugacity in both phases and phase equilibrium. |
