Pressure fluctuations are one of the most important parameters in the design and operation of gas-solid circulating fluidized bed (CFB), whose signals reflect lots of nonlinear hydrodynamics behaviors in the bed.For sand, glass bean, quartz sand and PVC, pressure fluctuations were measured at different conditions. Furthermore, statistics analysis, power spectral density (PSD) analysis and chaos analysis of pressure fluctuations in gas-solid CFB were conducted.An investigation of the effect of circulating solid flux, superficial gas velocity, height from riser bottom and particle property on the parameters (e.g. expectation, standard deviation, PSD etc.) was made.The choice of phase space reconstruction parameter as well as the improvement and application of the chaos algorithm were discussed and used to the calculation of chaos parameter. The effect of operation conditions on correlation dimension and Kolmogorov entropy was also investigated.
