The Perparing Of Antibacterial Plastic And Antibacterial Plastic Concentrate And The Studing On Their Properties

Antibacterial plastic is a new kind of functional plastic. It is due to be filled with antibacterial agents that the material has the antibacterial activity. The antibacterial capacity of antibacterial plastic is longer, steadier, more economical and more convenient than plastics treated with physical and chemical antibacterial methods. The FS-ZN inorganic antibacterial agent and plastic concentrate prepared by the Haier Research Center were used to prepare antibacterial plastic. The effects of the adding amount of antibacterial agent and concentrate on the antibacterial activity were studied. There are different technologies to prepare antibacterial plastic and the optimum method was obtained through experiments. The KH-300 superthin antibacterial agent developed by the HeHai nano-materials Co.,LTD was filled to prepare antibacterial plastic. It was compared with the antibacterial plastic added FS-ZN inorganic antibacterial agent.The results indicated that when the adding amount is 1.5 phr, the material has antibacterial activity and the cost of material is not too high. When the scale of concentrate and resin is 1:25, antibacterial rate of the antibacterial is above 90%. Double screw extruding is the effective processing method to prepare antibacterial plastic.On the other hand, investigation was focused on the formulation for antibacterial concentrate and preparing method. The prepared concentrate was added to LDPE, ABS, PVC resins. And the antibacterial plastic concentrate produced by double screw extruder showed the better antibacterial activity.
