Because of the badly destruction to the ozone layer in the atmosphere, the production of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and Halons have been stopped and their usages are cutting down in the developed countries, but also in the developing countries their productivity is under reduction. In our country, the plan of eliminating chlorofluorocarbons has been drew. So, every country attaches importance to the research of the substitute of CFC. Because of its excellent environment quality, 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexachloropropane has been confirmed as one of the important substitutes of chlorofluorocarbons and Halons. It has been widely used as refrigeration, heat transfer media, vesicant, expand reagent, and spaceflight propellant.This paper discussed the preparation of 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoropropane by two steps. Studied the telomerization reaction kinetics of hexachloropropane synthesis. Under the condition of 6 105Pa pressure and 100~115 temperature, for the first time a new reaction kinetics equation was presented as below:The research work provided theory support for the technology selection and reactor design of industrial production. And impoldered a new auxiliary catalyst, reduced the reaction temperature, pressure, and time. Advanced the reaction efficiency.Using a catalyst, made up of Cr, Ni, Su, Mn, supported in AlFs, studied the relation of selectivity and reaction temperature, by different flux of HCC230. Reach a selectivity of 89.82%. This proved that this catalyst can be used for preparation of HFC236fa. This paper also studied out the best temperature and flux, provided theory support for the technology selection and reactor design of industrial production.
