Nowadays, the annual Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) yield exceeds hundred millions and what comes with it is the increasingly severe environment problem .The pyrolysis of MSW presents the tendency of the proposal technology.By a LG-2B type thermoldynamics analytical instrument , the TG and DTG experiments on five typical MSW including paper ,food, plastic , wood and textile under nitrogen atmosphere , are done. After analyzing the date, we get the characteristic parameters from TG curves, and discuss their pyrolysis characteristic .We study the effects on characteristic of paper in various heating speeds and of wood with various grains ,get the conclusion that slower heating speed and smaller grain are easier to decompose. This article sets up reaction kinetic model of the combustibles such as pape, wood etc. in the process of losing its weight, gets parameters corresponding the reaction kinetic, verifies the model founded in this paper ,and defines the pyrolysis mechanism of these five typical samples in experiment .And also, the model in this article is proved further to be correct by the method of Ozawa.
