Jiaodong's main gold fields, which in this study mainly lie in the north of Zhaoyuan and Laizhou cities, are main gold bases in our country. It is age-old in gold exploitation, and is extremely abundant in gold underground reserves. Its output of gold is the most in our country, and it has made a great contribution to national economic construction. Gold exploitation is the backbone industry and main source of finance income for Zhaoyuan and Laizhou cities. However, with the exploitation year by year, and only paying attention to economic benefit and no attention to environmental and ecological benefit, the utility of gold made this region's environmental geologic conditions worsened. If letting these go on, it will badly affect the local economy, society living and environment. Thus it must be harnessed by taking powerful measures. There are many factors influencing the environmental geologic conditions, and those factors' distribution are very complex, which include physical and man-made factors. The data of these factors is so many that it is impossible for conventional research methods to combine and synthesize them organically, but to distinguish or classify them roughly. Moreover, much of information reflecting space-time distributing regularity of these fields can't be displayed timely, frankly, visually and completely. So the researchers may not communicate enough with the leaders of decision-making departments, which affects the measure making of environmental harness. Today, the rapidly improved Remote Sensing (RS) and Geologic Information System (GIS ) provide quite good methods for tackling these problems. The degree of studying geology and water in Jiaodong district is quiet high. There are many kinds of basic pictures and research achievements of geology, water and environmental geology, which are good basic data for this study. But the special study for gold-mine environmental geology especially for the problem emerging owing to gold exploitation is little, only a few related articles. This study is based on the national physical science fund subject (40271001) named ShanDong Coast Continent-Ocean Effect and Human Activity Environment Effect and ecological effectiveness, written by Xu Xuegong professor from Peking University and Jiaodong main goldfield environmental geologic investigate subject from ShanDong Environmental geologic water institute. Depending on plenty of remote sensing data, conventional data, special topic maps, observational data and water examination data, Having the aid of GIS, RS, geology, topography, computer science, etc. This paper analyzes the conditions of gold field environmental geology, evaluate the probability for the geology calamity and advance reasonable advice to tackle these questions.Main content of this study are as follows.(1) Establish the information system of environmental monitorUsing the language and GIS software, build up the information system for this region, gold mine environmental spatial data base, attribute data base and analysis model data base. Using Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Foxpro 6.0, Visual C++ 6.0 etc. as language tools and computer, plot machine and printer as hardware, realize the indexing, management and analysis of environmental geologic information.(2) Discuss how to use the information from RS to distill the environmental geologic factorsDiscuss the method for distill the surface sink, landslip, etc. from DTM, water, residential area, vegetation, gold mine points, gangue warehouse, etc. from spectrum analysis, roads, ground split, falls, etc. from crisp and eye distinguish.(3 ) Distill the environmental geologic factors and analyzes their harmness and reasonsMainly analyzes the status in quo, reason, distribution, harmness and defend for the falls, surface sink, mine suddenly water, landslip, castoff, etc.(4) Evaluate the probability of the geology calamityTake use of the method of factors and coverage union to evaluate the probability of the geology calamity, and then plot out the high, middle an...
