Centered around the stability of surrounding rock key structure and small structure of roadway in fully-mechanized caving face, the basic principle of this kind of abandoned roadway surrounding rock is inquired, the stress characteristic of the roadway and the mechanic mechanism of the surrounding rock deformation are analyzed. The mechanic analysis model of the overlying key structure is built; the stability principle of the key structure is studied. Form the above, we believe it has priority to adopt to bolt supporting for this kind of roadway. Based on studying the surrounding rock characteristic of this kind of roadway, the anchorage function and anchorage result of the bolt, the view of roadway small structure is put forward, the characteristic of stress and deformation for small structure is inquired, the high intensity bolt supporting system to keep small structure stability and the technique to realize the high bolt supporting system are put forward. The theory system of stability and controlling for roadway in fully-mechanized caving face is formed.
