| The poor adhesion of ultra-High molecular weight polyethylene fibres to epoxy resin due to the characteristics of their surface structure makes it difficult to develop light compsite materials with good mechanical properties. On the basis of the low-temperature plasma treat the surfaces of the fibres,a subject about the application of artifigial neural network in the low-temperatuer plasma surface treatment of ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fiber has been researched deeper and more extensively in this dissertation. The dissertation has probed and researched the following questions:â… The dissertation has shown the theroy of the low-temperature plasma treat the surfaces of the fibres and the mainfactors of treatment. Discusing how to use the artifigial neural network in material analysis,We got a software of the optimizing treatment parameters and found the best parameters of the treatment.â…¡ Using the best parameters of the treatment,the treatment of the fibers surfaces show that the fibres can be wetted very well by resin,and that the adhesion strength of the treated fibres to resin increases significantly to 7.4Mpa.â…¢ The mechanism of the surface change has beenstudied by the XPS,SEM,contract anglemeasurements.We discuss the roles of the tree main fators playing in the fiber-resin adhesion,and their relation to plasma parameters.the three main factors ars the key mechanical effects,the chemical bonding effcts and nonpolar dispersion force.â…£ On the basis of materials analysis,a discussion of how to use the artificial neural network in the other way has been researched.The dissertation will have an important signficance to the research of fibere. |
