Study On The Neutral Deinking Agent And Applied Technology

Alkaline deinking of waste paper is widely used in most of deinking papermills. Recycled paper is done predominantly under alkaline conditions. But with the development of ink and printing technology, some kinds of waste paper can't be deinked efficiently under alkaline conditions. This paper mainly discussed the deinking of recycled paper under neutral conditions, such as old newspaper made in china and US, office-paper, American colored pictorial, etc. The experiments are made as follows: (a) the preparation of deinking agents, i.e. the different mixed systems of surfactant, the addition of inorganic salts, the main performance, and the optimum dosage of the mixtures. (b ) deink to the different kinds of paper. ( c) compare the alkaline deinking with neutral deinking from the brightness of DIP, COD of waste water, and the costs of the deinking agents.Finally the optimum deinking conditions and neutral deinking agent are achieved through systemic analyzing. The experiments show that the neutral deinking process can do with the different paper with better results. Neutral deinking is feasible as a new deinking method with great prospects.
