Research in deinking agents for paper now is backward and is inclined to synergistic mixture. The variety of deinking agents is little and mainly is anionic type. Many deinking agents must be imported from Euramerican developed countries. New patents of it are mainly from Japan within a few years. The adducts of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide are possessed of the majority of nonionic deinking agents. They are the adducts of fatty acid and polyol and monoethanolamine.Many nonionic deinking agents perform, very well but biologic degradation of them is not good or produce toxic hydroxybenzene to pollute our environment. Washing performance and biologic degradation of dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid-(6)-sodium salt (DBS) is very good. So we use dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid to compose a nonionic deinking agent that is called dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid compound of polymerizing epichlorohydrin and glycol.The steps and control parameters of the experiment are shown: 1, the preparation of compound of polymerizing epichlorohydrin and glycol :it is prepared by the reacting of 0.55mol epichlorohydrin and 0.5mol glycol in the presence of 22g NaOH at 40℃,but 7g NaOH is used in solid form, 15g NaOH is dropped by mixing 50% solution within 50 min.2, the preparation of tertiary amine: it is prepared by the reacting of 0.25mol epichlorohydrin and 0.25mol hexahydropyridine without solvent cooled in water bath at normal temperature to lessen quaternaryammonium product as possible. The thermometer is used to control the reaction process, epichlorohydrin is dropped outside with dropwise about 8s/d.3, the preparation of grafted derivant of tertiary amine: it is prepared by the reacting of above (1) product and (2) product heated in water bath at 40℃ within 10min.4, the preparation of esterified derivant : it is prepared by the esterifying reacting of above (3) product and 4g dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid heated inwater bath at 40℃ within 30min.5, the capacity and quality index of the final product: it is a nonionic detergent. It is divided into two parts,the upper is thin yellow while the lower is dope, pH value is 9. 1% solution of the final product is white transparent latex. Its viscosity is 6.268 and HLB value is 13.45 and cloud point is 160℃.6, application experiments: deinking condition: time 50min, temperature 60 ℃, pulp consistency 10 wt%, NaOH: 0.2 wt%, Na2SiO3:3 wt%, DTPA: 0.2 wt%,H2O2: 2.5 wt%, deingking agent usage: 0.6%;dry pulp: 20g, washing. It makes whiteness of inner waste newspaper increase 15 from 42.4 to 57.3.7, the cost budget of the final product: if the raw materials are epichlorohydrin, glycol, dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid, sodium hydroxide and hexahydropyridine, the cost budget is about 9040¥/t, while the raw materials are epichlorohydrin, glycol, lauric acid, sodium hydroxide and diethanolamine, the cost budget is about 5484 ¥/t.
