It is typical in the modern cold forging to Cold-Extrude the involute cylindrical gear spline. It is a key in the design of the extrusion shaping to make theoretical analysis to the open-die extruding of spline, to give a more accurate algorithm on the forming force, to find out the law of metal flowing, and to choose the appropriate process parameters.Based on the analysis to the three-dimentional velocity field in the metal extrusion, it is given a design to the die shape in the open-die cold extruding. It is also calculated on the three-dimentional velocity field in Cold-Extruding the involute cylindrical gear spline in particular. By the upper bound solute, it is finally worked out the analytic expression of deforming power consisting of the optimization parameters. With the compound type algorithm, an optimization algorithm is given to the parameters.It is mainly analyzed in this thesis to the influence on the velocity field by the die shape . It is also feasible to apply the formula of the deforming function given in this thesis to the theoretical research and process design on the open-die extrusion of the other special-shaped profile.
