Extraction of component and subsequent identification of its validity through mechanism experiments is traditional approach for the study on the active component of Chinese medicine, while this method suffers complicated process and laborious process and poor possibility for success. With the development of modern cell molecular biology, new methods appear, which are the combination of the latest-new achievements between chromatographic separation and molecular biologic medicine. One of them is to bind active cell membrane on silicon, which integrates the screening and separation of active component, and which can imitate the process between active components and acceptors in viva, it promises a nice future.There are two parts in the thesis.The first part: review of the development of the study on the screening of theactive components in Chinese medicine and its complex.1. Chromatography and its relevant techniques and their application in the screeningof active components in Chinese medicine and its complex. Expatiation of traditional methods for the extraction of Chinese medicine and the application of the following techniques in the screen of the Chinese medicine, combination between chromatography and mass spectrum, capillary electrochromatography and supercritical fluid chromatography.2. Study on the mechanism of the screening of active components in Chinese medicine and its compound. Presentation of the research, conducted by the theory of Chinese medicine, for the action mechanism of Chinese medicine and its compound.3. Application of biologic techniques in the screening of active components in Chinese medicine and its compound. Summarization of the application of molecular-cell biology in the study on the screening of the active component in Chinese medicine and its compound.4. Study on models for the screening of active components in Chinese medicine and its compound. Introduction of four kinds of models for Chinese medicine screening.The second part: research report1. Preparation of extract from chuanxiong by different solvents. Presentation of methods for the extraction of nature active component in Chinese medicine and preparation of extraction solution of chuanxiong by different solvents, including water and ethanol and ether.2. Preparation of cell membrane of hare heart. Preparation of cell membrane of hare heart and determination of the protein content in the membrane.3. Preparation of CMSP(cell membrane stationary phase). Preparation of CMSP and study on the characteristics of the surface of CMSP by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scan electron microscope, study on the law of the variation of enzyme activity along with time.4. Preparation of CMSP chromatography column and its chromatographic retain characteristics. Preparation of CMSP chromatography column and study on its reproducibility of its retention time. By comparison of the retain characteristics of water extract between using silica column and CMSP column, the characteristics of the surface of CMSP was confirmed. The analogy was found between the law of the retention time varying along with time and the law of the CMSP enzyme activity varying along with time, by the study on the retention times of the same component at different times.5. Study on components in Chinese medicine chuanxiong through its action on active cell membrane acceptor by chromatography.(1) Acceptors bear coalescent specificity, the retention times of components acting on the same acceptor of different components are alike. Comparison between the retention time of the extract by using some certain kind of solvent and that of some certain kind of antagonist or activator which is corresponding to some known acceptor in cardiac muscle membrane. Comparison was carried out and a conclusion was drawn that there probably are some component acting on a-acceptor in water extract, some component acting on 1- acceptor in methanol extract, at least five kinds of components acting on diff...
